Description:
This panel focuses on personal law and property by paying attention to the increasing role of digital technology. It will first discuss people’s way of navigating the justice system to gain insights into law in action and legal reality of different classes of society. What happens with people’s property after divorce? What can people do in case their debtors avoid paying their debt? The panel will then discuss the role of courts in regulating breach of contracts and this panel focuses on personal law and property by paying attention to the increasing role of digital technology.
